In this video I am in Dhakeshwari Temple (ঢাকেশ্বরী মন্দির) 🙏which is located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Dhakeshwari National Temple is a Hindu temple in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is state-owned, giving it the distinction of being Bangladesh's 'National Temple'. The name "Dhakeshwari" (ঢাকেশ্বরী Ðhakeshshori) means "Goddess of Dhaka". Since the destruction of Ramna Kali Mandir in 1971 by the Pakistan Army during the Bangladesh Liberation War, the Dhakeshwari Temple has assumed status as the most important Hindu place of worship in Bangladesh.

ঢাকার নামকরণের প্রসঙ্গ এলে অবধারিতভাবে যে নামটি আসে সেটি হলো ঢাকেশ্বরী মন্দির। ঢাকা আর ঢাকেশ্বরী যেন এক সুতোয় গাঁথা। বাংলাদেশের রাজধানী ঢাকায় অবস্থিত এ মন্দির সরকার কর্তৃক বাংলাদেশের জাতীয় মন্দির হিসেবে স্বীকৃতি পেয়েছে বহু বছর আগে। ঢাকেশ্বরী মন্দির ঢাকা শহরের পলাশী ব্যারাক এলাকায় বাংলাদেশ প্রকৌশল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ছাত্রাবাসসমূহের দক্ষিণে ঢাকেশ্বরী রোডে অবস্থিত। মূল মন্দির প্রাঙ্গনের বাইরে মহানগর পুজামণ্ডপ অবস্থিত। মূল মন্দির এলাকার ভবনগুলি উজ্জ্বল হলুদাভ ও লাল বর্ণের। মূল মন্দির প্রাঙ্গনের উত্তর পশ্চিম কোণে রয়েছে চারটি শিব মন্দির। মূল মন্দিরটি পূর্বাংশে অবস্থিত। এখানে দেবী দুর্গার একটি ধাতু-নির্মিত প্রতিমা রয়েছে।
