Finally we are back! Here we play Reigate Priory 2s, sadly the rain came down on Thursday and made a mess of the wicket so it was always going to be a crucial toss to win. Sadly we lost and got put in to bat on a soft wicket. We hoped the wicket wouldn’t improve much looking at the weather but didn’t know what a decent par score was. Our batsmen went and did their best losing a few wickets very cheaply. Could the total we scored be defended? With a good bowling attack we hoped so. Could our bowlers do the job in hand?
