Happy Sunday you all!
Plov is a dish, which my mom and my grandmother made for us when we were kids, this is why I still love making it, it comes with memories and its SO flavorful! This dish feeds a lot of people, it's easy to make and it lasts for up to 5 days in the fridge, but you can also just freeze it in an airtight container for up to a month! When you plan to thaw it, place the container in the fridge to let it defrost overnight, make sure to finish eating what you thawed on the same day.

Russian Plov
Ingredients
1 lbs baby back ribs
3 big onions, chopped
3 garlic cloves, chopped
9 carrots, chopped
1.5 tbsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 bay leaves
2 cups rinsed risotto rice
4 cups of water
1. Place a large pot over medium-high heat add 2 tbsp and sear the baby back ribs first on one side for about 10 minutes or until golden brown color, then flip and sear on the other side, add salt and pepper.
2. Add chopped garlic, onions and carrots, mix well! Keep searing until it all has reduced down quite a bit.
3. Now pour in the 4 cups of water and the bay leaves, mix well turn the heat down to LOW, cover with a lid and let it cook for 1 hour. DON’T OPEN THE LID in between.
4. After the hour of waiting add the rinsed risotto, stir well, close the lid and let it simmer for 20-30 minutes or until the rice has absorbed all the liquid.
5. Serve Plov with some pickles and garnish with parsley.
