The famous Sana Ghagara waterfall situated at Keonjhar District. The waterfall named as Sana Ghagara because 'Sana' means small and 'Ghagara' means waterfall. There is another fall near to the Sanaghagara waterfall named Badaghagara (bada means big). These two waterfalls are state's most popular tourist destinations. The height of Sanaghagara Waterfall is 30.5m and Badaghagara Waterfall is 60m. It is an exotic eco tourist spot. The San Machakandana river gently passes down the hills creating natural falls with enchanting beauty. The area is an extremely undulating terrain with hills, pediments and a “V” shaped narrow valley. The hills and pediments are very steep and the rock formation is of dolerite origin.


Sanaghagara Nature Camp

The eco tourism complex of Sanaghagara named as Anjar.

One side of the nature camp is Machhakandana River & forest landscape and on the other side marked by presence of Highway NH 49.

It has 2 types of Accommodations.

1.Double Bedded Cottage – 5 Rooms (AC)

2.Eight Bedded Dormitory Suite – 1 Room (AC)

The rooms are well furnished and have all the modern facilities.

The magical Sunrise and Sunset on the horizons of the blue Lagoon can be best viewed from the cottages

Here both veg and non-veg foods are served to the guests.
