Visiting Cortona - A Mini Guide

Описание: Cortona is a beautiful little Tuscan town that's well worth exploring and is a firm favourite for tourists visiting Tuscany!

This guide will detail how to get to Cortona, the best place to park and how to get into town from the main car park using the escalators. Cortona is a small town and very easy to explore on foot although being built on a hill, some roads will be quite steep. We travelled to Cortona with two young children and didn't have any issues wandering around.

There are plenty of restaurants in town, particularly in the piazza Repubblica, which is almost at the very centre of Cortona, but almost down every alley is a quaint pizzeria so plenty of places to choose from.

To the west is the Cortona Cathedral which overlooks the surrounding area and even if you don't take a look inside the church, just taking a trip to enjoy the views it overlooks is worth it.
