Armed Forces of Azerbaijan introduced the MEMATT (Mechanical Mine-Clearing Equipment), remotely controlled mobile demining equipment manufactured by Turkey’s state-owned ASFAT defence company. MEMATT has developed by a group companies including ASFAT and subcontractors from the private sector.
MEMATT features a hull that is designed for harshest conditions and resistant to external forces. Engine air intake of the vehicle has a protection filter system. MEMATT is equipped with a protection shield made of Armox 500T armor steel. Tracks are made of steel that provides maximum durability. The tiller attachment of the vehicle produced by carbide tips and designed to be easily replaceable.
