Battle Mage - Normal Kaling Solo [Maplestory GMS Kronos]

Описание: It's a Christmas miracle...(first?) BaM NKaling solo in Heroic. Youtube initially compressed my video so badly that I ended up having a record a video of the video to get around it, so there might be a couple blips (edit: turns out the audio is distorted). I tuned down my specs very slightly, like the psycho I am, to go for something akin to a min cut.

I decided to post my 3rd clear (practice mode with real Sayram's elixir) instead of my 2nd (real) clear since the salty runback better represents my intended strategy and pacing, which I put a lot of effort into. For the real clear (as evidence), see    • Battle Mage - Normal Kaling REAL Solo  .

I don't think there is a harder boss to solo than NKaling, and I'm not talking about the HP. Mistakes are punishing if not run-ending, but I still managed to do some celebratory running it down in P3. Furthermore, I could not find a KMS BaM solo as reference (●▅▇█▇▆▅▄▇ ?), so I had to put bits and pieces together to come up with a clearing strategy.

I played around an 11-burst strategy because I had previously timed out of multiple runs doing 10 bursts (waiting for tests) and incorrectly believed a 10-burst strategy was not possible for my spec. However, I managed to optimize the run to clear with 1m43s left, not even using the 11th burst. BaM has a lot of extra damage in P3 but unfortunately gets bottlenecked very hard in P1. Most classes can go Hundun → Taowu → Qiongqi to avoid Taowu's shields in Qiongqi, but BaM loses more damage in Qiongqi than Taowu because altars cannot be moved (and, with that pacing, Qiongqi would go into test DURING BaM's 40s + α long burst). A slightly lower spec clear is possible, something like 2% less FD, but would require either some skill/luck around delaying Qiongqi's test (for 11-burst) or a very strong performance in P3 (for 10-burst). I personally did not opt for cheese strat (just to add more complexity to the boss fight) but do recommend cheese strat in P3 for BaM.

As an aside, the intention during the FMA in 15:00 was to hold blink in a small safe pocket (while still within RoR) and then pop Aeonian Rise when Kaling reappears, but I was able to manipulate her flight and teleport patterns to not have to fully commit to that move.

I used a Mapae special node, Inspector Power I (40% boss for 20s /w 30s cd), over Fatal Strike I (100% boss for 2s /w 30s cd). Assuming an average of 4s of server lag, the inspector node is worth ~12% boss over fatal. Adding 12% boss to the scouter yields 100671 HEXA converted.
