Hyundai's new i30 Fastback N track monster makes history at World Time Attack Challenge!

Описание: Hyundai has become the first factory backed World Time Attack Challenge entry with this spectacular i30 Fastback N. Once again showing how the Korean maker has their finger right on the pulse when it comes to the tuner market.

Following on the success of our entry last year in WTAC with our own i30N hatch back time attack car, Hyundai have stepped it up a notch and built this incredible looking Fastback N.

Tuned to a mild 325hp (280hp at the wheels), using a factory re-tuned ecu by Hyundai Korea themselves, coupled with a slightly bigger turbo, intercooler and radiator - this package is something that has been hinted could be in the pipeline for a future iteration of the hot hatch.

Hyundai has had an ever increasing fan base ever since the release of the N, and it is truly impressive to see a manufacturer stand behind their products so passionately.

We had a chance to catch up with Geoff Fear, head mechanic for the N Performance Division and get the low down on this beautiful wolf in sheep's clothing (albeit with a giant set of aero that kind of gave away its true purpose in life).

Let's hope other manufacturers follow in Hyundai's footsteps and dip their toes into the Australian motorsport consumer market... Hint, I am looking at you Toyota :D
