Happy Friday Everyone!
This is the second part of the two part motion control series highlighting the B&R hardware (https://www.br-automation.com/en-us/). I am also highlighting several other products that are top notch. PHD ESU electric actuators (https://www.phdinc.com/product/?produ.... These actuators will marry up to any manufacturers motor and/or gearheads they are also manufactured Fort Wayne, Indiana!
The next product is the Harmonic Drive HPN planetary gearhead (https://www.harmonicdrive.net/product.... These gearheads are very high quality and can be made to fit on any servo or stepper motor that is manufactured today.
The last items that I am highlighting in this video are the Sick H18 SureSense photoelectric sensors which are used as inputs to the controller to move the actuator from one position to the next (https://www.sick.com/us/en/photoelect....
