Aaron Livesy Comes Out

Chronology of events:
1. Aaron's bid to commit suicide is thwarted when he is rescued by Adam and Cain. At the hospital, he tells Paddy that he still wishes he was dead. Chas, put off by his attitude towards being gay, knocks some sense into Aaron.
2. When Adam visits him at the hospital, he tells Adam that he should not have found him. Adam gets up to leave, but Aaron asks him to stay and wishes they were good mates like before.
3. Aaron is released from hospital and returns to the village. Afraid that Aaron might attempt suicide again, Chas moves in with Aaron and Paddy to keep a close watch.
4. Aaron shows signs of turning a new leaf. He mends his relationship with his mother, seeing that she actually cares for him.
5. Sensing that Paddy might have false hopes of getting back with Chas, he tells his mother that it is time she left because he is doing alright and she could visit him anytime.
6. Aaron stops by the garage where he tried to take his life. Cain tries to calm Aaron's apprehension by asking him to make tea for them. Aaron eventually returns to work at the garage.
7. Aaron is not dealing well with his impending court trial. He refuses to see his solicitor and rejects calls for him to admit in court that he beat Jackson because he was afraid of being found out. He'd rather go to prison than do that.
8. Adam persuades Jackson to talk some sense into Aaron. Jackson leaves when Aaron uncouthly turns down his advice. Adam gives up on Aaron and concludes that Aaron wants to be punished for being gay.
9. Aaron does not want his family and friends to come for the court trial, but when they do turn up, he is pleased.
10. Jackson surprisingly shows up for the trial. His presence somehow influences Aaron into admitting he is gay and that him beating Jackson was not a homophobic attack but because he was afraid people would find out about his sexuality.
11. Word of Aaron's coming out in court sends shockwaves throughout Emmerdale. Most of them are surprised, but nobody seems disturbed by it. In fact, they all are very supportive of Aaron.
