This is the third Verdugo series dual stompbox I recevied from NUX I've reviewed in a row. The Masamune. A compressor and boost in one enclosure with some really clever and useable features.

The Masamune is one of the first dual stompboxes from the Verdugo range and personally I think it's kinda flown under the radar. With a really well dialled in compressor and a powerful boost it can perform a lot of different jobs on your board. Where I'm really liking it is as the complete pallete of clean sounds.

You can have your slighly compressed even controlled clean sound, your boosted clean lead sound, your dirty clean sound with the boost and a really great dirty clean lead tone with both sides.

It really is a great pedal that can get sounds you wouln't necessarily know you need but that are really rewarding.
