The water level of the Yamuna river in Delhi has started rising again, increasing the risk of floods. Due to the recent heavy rains in Delhi and surrounding states as well as the release of water from the dams of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the water level of the Yamuna river has risen above the danger mark. The pictures clearly show that water is overflowing from the river bank and there is a risk of flooding in low-lying areas. The situation is most serious near Loha Pul in Yamuna Bazaar area where the water is rising rapidly. In view of this situation, the administration has started taking precautionary measures. दिल्ली में यमुना नदी का जलस्तर फिर से बढ़ने लगा है जिससे बाढ़ का खतरा बढ़ गया है. हाल ही में दिल्ली और आसपास के राज्यों में हुई भारी बारिश के साथ ही हिमाचल प्रदेश और उत्तराखंड के बांधों से पानी छोड़े जाने के कारण यमुना नदी का जलस्तर खतरे के निशान से ऊपर पहुँच गया है. तस्वीरें साफ़ दर्शाती हैं कि नदी के किनारे से पानी बह रहा है और निचले इलाकों में बाढ़ का खतरा है. यमुना बाजार इलाके में लोहा पुल के पास स्थिति सबसे अधिक गंभीर है जहाँ पानी तेज़ी से बढ़ रहा है. इस स्थिति को देखते हुए प्रशासन ने एहतियाती कदम उठाने शुरू कर दिए हैं. देखें वीडियो
