This track is a hybrid beast. It takes the heavy, thick low-end groove of my "Fat Groundhog" style and collides it with the complex, instrument-heavy arrangements of retro-futuristic space jazz. You'll hear soaring acid synth and vintage jazz organs fighting for space over an absolutely relentless, driving bass foundation.

To keep a mix this heavy from falling apart, the audio was meticulously mastered using a "Hard Knee" SSL-style VCA console compressor to make the kick drum and bass physically punch through the speakers. The entire mix was then glued together using a 0ms diffuse analog tape emulator—driven just hard enough into the red to create warm, 1970s harmonic distortion and subtle mechanical flutter.
