Amid tensions in the Middle East, limited air travel is resuming with the first flight from the UAE arriving in Singapore on Thursday (Mar 5). Over 400 passengers, mostly Singaporeans, were reunited with their families at Changi Airport, with emotional scenes of tears, tight embraces, and relief. Many had rearranged travel plans due to the uncertainty in the region.
While some flights remain cancelled or rescheduled, Singaporeans still abroad have been offered land transport options to Oman or Saudi Arabia for flights back home.
