at long last, Our Yamaha DTJ 125 1982 restoration is completed.
***Apologies for the purist out there.
This is my father's first motorcycle used as service to work back in the 80's to 90s
The bike was modified in the late 80s to look like a production bike by a builder named Totoy in Marikina. Looks like it took inspiration on a YZ or RM. Colorway looks like an RM with yellow and blue combination.
Bike was stored in our rooftop for 20 years! Good thing it was well covered and no major damage of time.
Back in 2010 while my pops was an OFW, my cousin and I tried to start it. It kicked back real hard and broke the crank case.
I decided to restore the motorcycle just like what I remembered when I was a little kid chasing my pop's motorcycle to take my mom to work.
Thank you to the people who helped us bring back this motorcycle from the dead.
