Established in 1594, Binondo isn’t just another Chinatown. It’s packed with street food, history, culture, and surprises I honestly did NOT expect. From random street interactions to learning “masarap” and “lami”, trying unique street snacks, visiting a historic church in the middle of Chinatown, and ending with one of the best egg tarts I’ve ever had… this place completely shocked me.
If you’re visiting Manila or planning a trip to the Philippines, Binondo Chinatown is a must.
