Dhaba Or Restaurant Style Aloo Paratha is one of the most popular Indian breakfast often served with curd, butter, pickle and/or chutney. Dhaba Style Aloo Paratha is very easy to cook. In this video i will share how to cook Dhaba Style Aloo Paratha Recipe in hindi.
Ingredients Of Dough For Dhaba Style Aloo Paratha Recipe In Hindi
Wheat Flour – 3 cups
Salt – ½ tsp
Oil – 1 Tsp
Water to knead the dough
Ingredients Of Aloo Masala For Dhaba Style Aloo Ka Paratha Recipe
Potato – 5 medium size peeled and mashed
Onions – 1 medium size finely chopped ( Optional)
Ginger – ½ Inch finely chopped
Green Chilies – 1 finely chopped
Coriander – 2 Sprigs finely chopped
Salt – According to taste
Ajwain – ½ tsp
Jeera – 1 Tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 Tsp
Garam Masala – ½ Tsp
Red Chilly Powder – 1 tsp
Dry Mango Powder- 1 tsp
Cooking Process for Dough for Dhaba Style Aloo Paratha Recipe In Hindi
To knead the dough, take a wide mouth bowl and add flour, oil and salt.
Now add water slowly and knead the dough to soft consistency.
Keep the dough aside to rest for atleast 20 mins. ( Gluten in the wheat gets activated during the resting process).
Cooking Process for Dough for Dhaba Style Aloo Ka Paratha Recipe
In a separate bowl add the mashed potatoes with onion ( optional) and all the masala ingredient well.
Take a small portion of the dough and roll it to a 4 inch diameter with help of rolling pin and dry flour.
With a help of a spoon, take the aloo masala as per the desire quantity and place it on the rolled dough. (Make sure dnt stuff it too much as it will be hard to roll the parantha.)
Take the side of the dough and carefully seal the dough properly.
Now dust the masala dough with dry flour and roll it to a diameter of 10cm.
Place the rolled paratha on to a hot tawa ( griddle).
Flip the paratha to the other side. ( you will observe some brown spots)
Spread some oil evenly on both sides of paratha.
With the help of spatula, cook the paratha till the time they are evenly cooked.
Serve it with curd, homemade butter, pickle or Chutney for awesome flavor.
