On October 3, 2025, City Club hosted a conversation with Therese Bottomly, retired Editor of The Oregonian, and Kerry Tymchuk, Executive Director of the Oregon Historical Society. They discussed Bottomly’s 42-year career at Oregon’s largest newsroom, the evolution of news from print to digital, and the challenges and opportunities facing local journalism today.
