Hello there, in this video you join me at Inverness, where I catch the old style Caledonian Sleeper down to London Euston in their 2nd Class product, a Classic Twin Room.
As with the previous video, I was doing this journey with someone else, so the video isn't quite up to the standards I wish to achieve, but I feel it is a little bit better (for a start, it's not so long haha).
This was what I expect to be one of the last few journeys that these older carriages will be making, as brand-new Mk5 carriages from CAF in Spain are expected to enter service in a couple of weeks.
I hope you enjoy this video, and look out for my first try on the new Caledonian Sleeper in mid-November, where I will use a Club Solo Room with en-suite and shower!
