Описание: How to fix the “Volca Sample is not connected” error on your Volca Sample 2 (second generation).

Go to korg.com/us/support/download/, then click Download KORG USB MIDI Driver. Choose the option that matches your operating system. PC : Which Windows Version do you run?
Hold Windows logo key & press R to open the menu, type “winver” then click ok. Select the right Windows Version.
MAC: Download Driver & Driver Uninstaller (two different downloads)
Scroll down, click, download, install. Both should be active : Driver and Uninstaller. Complete the installation and restart your computer.

So here’s the issue: the Korg librarian sample transfer software shows“Volca Sample not connected” even when you connected your Volca Sample. Now that you have installed the necessary tools, let's fix this error once and for all.

Start the Korg Midi Driver Uninstall Utility.It is very likely that your machine has a lot of old unused entries. So the entry for the Volca Sample is on entry 10 or later. Use the downwards arrow to check.
Check the box for all entries of the Volca Sample. Click the option button, uncheck the box and click next. We need to delete enough unused entries to free up mid9 and above.

Select the entries you don't need for removal, Disconnect the Volca Sample. Click yes to remove these devices. Connect the Volca Sample and start the Volca Sample Librarian.

Everything should work flawless now. ENJOY! You have resolved the “Volca Sample is not connected” error.
You can now connect your Volca Sample 2 via USB with the Korg Volca Librarian Software and transfer samples.
