In this deeply moving episode of Voices of Resilience, we sit down with Aria The Vocalist — artist, singer, songwriter, mother, and survivalist on a powerful healing journey.

Aria’s story is one of unimaginable pain and unwavering strength. As a survivor of abuse, family trauma, tragedy, and long-term mental health struggles, she has chosen to turn survival into purpose through music and creativity.

In 2021, Aria nearly lost her life after being attacked by her mentally ill brother. Rather than allowing that trauma to define her, she continues to push forward — healing, growing, and building a better future for herself and her son.

After recently losing her mother — her son’s grandmother — Aria is now on a journey of reconnecting with her Cuban heritage and honoring her mother’s legacy as a Cuban refugee in Florida City, Florida. Through music and writing, she is committed to preserving her mother’s story while shaping her own.
