CM Revanth Launches 553 RTC Buses for Women SHGs Under Indira Mahila Shakti Scheme

Описание: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to distribute 553 RTC buses to women self-help groups under the Indira Mahila Shakti Scheme. The launch event will be held at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad, at 4 PM, where the CM will formally flag off the buses.

As part of this major initiative, the responsibility of managing RTC buses will be handed over to women’s groups, aiming to promote women empowerment and self-reliance.

The government is also set to increase loans for women self-help groups from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh. Additionally, ₹500 crore worth of interest-free loan cheques will be distributed to women SHGs.

CM Revanth Reddy will also provide financial assistance of ₹199 crore to T.G.S.R.T.C for the purchase of new buses. Minister Seethakka stated that this initiative will significantly strengthen women-led transport operations and economic independence in Telangana.
