Making Abstract Amaryllis Cold Process Soaps

The Amaryllis in our garden is always so beautiful at this time of year. The glorious trumpets stand strong and tall, proclaiming the splendor and wonder of their Maker. Inspired by the pink and white amaryllis in our garden, I poured soap into a log mold then cut it into slices. After planing and beveling each soap, I used the scraps to form 3D petal extensions on top. My hand steamer gave the soaps a shiny, porcelain appearance.
