The first blood of the Civil War was shed in Baltimore on April 19, 1861 during the Pratt Street Riot. The city commemerated the 150th anniversary of the event with a procession from the President Street rail station to Camden Station on April 16, 2011.
Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings Blake and Councilman James Kraft were featured speakers.
