"A Day In The Woods" - Marcel Dominic

Описание: I had one particular forest in mind when coming up with the title and that is the one being basically in front of our doorstep at our previous home. This was where I started going running some years ago, went for hundreds of beautiful hikes and this was the first forest our firstborn boy explored and took his tiny steps in.

A Day In The Woods is dedicated to one of my favorite activities I never get tired of. Spending time in the woods, going on a hike, riding the bike, watching and listening closely to the forest doing it’s thing. Such seemingly boring activities are exactly what I personally need and crave for in this day and age. The world becomes every so quick and fleeting that such moments in a forest with nothing but your thoughts are blissful and unfortunately scarce. That’s why I enjoy any and all moments I have in the forest.

I tried to capture the vibes of the forest in this video. Hopefully the magic of it can somewhat come across through your display.

In most cases the phone, the extension device of our modern selves, is with me anyway. Since I don’t seem to go out without it I might as well put it to good use and record some footage.

Enjoy your day and if you are not as lucky and have no forest around you, I hope this song and video can transport you for 5 minutes.
