The old turtle Gonya has now lived on earth for 213 years and has noticed that some things have changed in recent years. Time to take a closer look! She quickly decides to climb into a suitable walker and set off with her curious little grandson Kilpie and her friend Zirbenzapf. Slowly but tirelessly, the three of them are now exploring the world together, which is increasingly dominated by humans. Sometimes they have to stop and take a deep breath!
German based company PANTAO create walking creatures for public events that turn heads and amaze onlookers. Te Mātai Digital had the pleasure to meet them in Offida, Italy an 11th Century fortress city and collaborate to tell this story.
Set against the old town of Offida with its cobblestone paths and majestic church this world was the perfect setting for our ancient visitors.
