Sony NEX-5N Low Light Test w/ 18-55

Testing my 5N on the way home from a shoot. This was with max iso in video (3200) and aperture wide open (only f/3.5). Excellent results given the conditions. I owned a hacked Panasonic GH1 prior to this and it's video was only really usable up to about 800 iso. Even then it didn't look as good as this.

The first clip shows performance under streetlights. Even with this slow lens, there is plenty of usable light. The second clip is of a very dark highway. The only source of light is from the car's headlights.

With a cheap 50/1.4 this camera would be killer. My only gripe is the clicking. I removed the audio, but the original video had very noticeable clicking. This can be eliminated with the use of Sony's mic, which is the only mic you can use on this camera due to a lack of a port.

Obviously this quality is not exactly as good as directly out of the camera due to rendering in the video editor and youtube's compression. However, the main point of it being excellent in low light, is shown.
