In this demo I install Ceph 5 on VMware using cephadm, works in a lab. Please do not do this in production, only for testing. The environment using vSAN for the OSD's. The new install is super easy, but it's only the first part - in following video's we'll start provisioning the storage.

Note: I show, but do not include the setup for haproxy - ports 8443/tcp routes to all nodes for the GUI, although you can access it directly on the cephadm host. I do have it preconfigured for port 443/tcp for Object/S3 access which I'll include next time.
