A shocking incident has emerged from Maharshi Deoraha Baba Medical College, Deoria, where the body of Ashok Gavde, a Maharashtra-based engineer, was found in a water tank. Ashok had been discovered in a critically ill condition on September 27 by passersby, who admitted him to the medical college. The discovery of his body on October 6 raised questions about how a physically impaired person could have reached the water tank. In light of the investigation, the Medical College Principal, Dr. Rajesh Barnwal, was removed from his post and attached to the government until further inquiries are completed. The case has left local authorities and citizens puzzled.
