Boiler conversion (or system conversion) plumbing are hardly ever with there problems when installing a combi boiler (combination boiler). This time we didn't have to walk away like when we moved a boiler (Worcester Bosch 30i moved a few weeks ago)

Being a plumber can throw up many problems especially on these jobs, there can be problems with the plumbing for the flow and return pipes, incorrect sized pipes and just generally things not going your way!

System conversion to combi can be difficult but hopefully I've explained how to convert a heat only boiler to a combi boiler on a gravity feed heating systems and shown you some plumbing tips along the way

Installing a combi boiler has great benefits for your plumbing when converting a gravity fed system into a mains pressure for your hot water can make a big difference when running a tap to take a bath or run a shower. Also the system is a lot more efficient with no more stored hot water to worry about.

In this video we will remove a Worcester 24 RI heat only boiler, cylinder, y plan valve (3 port valve) central heating pump, header tank, cold water storage cistern and the old pipework

Also we will show how to layout the pipework for a combi boiler, how to install a 22mm Adey Magna clean, how to install a shock arrestor, how to install a inline scale reducer and how to install a EPH wireless programmer

This the same job we have shown on the channel before where we replaced the y plan valve, replaced radiators and install of a designer radiator in the hallway.
