The Uncle Larry Outdoors Send Ft. Local Legends (Fishing Upstate NY)

Описание: A couple weeks ago I was fishing upstate New York at a river that's currently teeming with life. King Salmon, brown trout, smallmouth bass, gar, carp, pike, channel catfish, are just some of the species present in this river. Going into the send I wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary. Of course I was excited to fish but I had no idea what was about to go down. I had an hour or two to kill before sunset so obviously my plan was to hit the river and see what kind of magic i could make happen. I rolled up to the spot and my first look at the river blew me away. Countless King Salmon were trying to jump up the waterfall so I went back to the car to grab my steelhead rod. A couple guys my age pulled into the parking spot next to me as I was frantically grabbing all my gear. I thought to just bring up fishing to them and tell them about the send I was getting on. So happens they were there to pick up their friends who were fishing and had an ugly stick rod in the car. I invite them along for the adventure and the rest is history. Their friends end up wet wading up the river in slides just to meet up and fish with us as it was getting dark. We had some crazy convos about what fishing is and why we all get out here. Its inspirational to see how the send leads to such amazing things that just work out in front of your eyes. Hope you guys enjoyed this adventure; it was a special one.
