If you happen to have lived in Charleston, SC at some time during the 60’s-90’s, you probably would have listened to Robert “Booby” Nash on WTMA. Today “Booby” picks from him “musty old file of goodies” an ”oldie” that peaked at #8 just 15 months ago in August of ’66.
Our Spotlight dancers today are Jim Clinton & Ruby Dake, Rene Zaconi & Jerry Hughes, and Eddie Sanchez & Roni Menacker.
…..And 3 days ago (Oct. 18), the last movie that Walt Disney would ever produce, ”The Jungle Book”, would be released. Walt Disney died in Dec. 1966, nearly a year before the film was finished. The box office success of “The Jungle Book” proved that Walt Disney Studios could be successful even without Walt.
