For this style, I washed and detangled my hair, applied my Giovanni Direct Leave-In Conditioner, and applied extra virgin olive oil. I used 21 perm rods for this hairstyle.

Perm Rods from Luvnaturals.com.. note -- You can get them from any beauty supply store.
Giovanni Direct Leave-In Conditioner-- (massagewarehouse.com, walmart, target, trader joes, whole foods, ulta, tj maxx, marshalls, etc..)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil (any supermarket or grocery store)

To maintain the style you can pull your hair up into a high, loose ponytail (also known as a pineapple) or you can do a few bantu knots and tie your hair down with a satin scarf.
