When I first set up my workshop, I made a simple Hammer Rack that worked fine, but I had the intent to make something better later. My hammer collection is growing and especially now that I will start to learn some blacksmithing. I will be forging tools and other elements due to the need to do so.
The Hammer Rack that I decided to make is simple in construction using 3 rails (I started with the idea as 2 rails) attached to 2 end brackets.
I made the rack from recycled / reclaimed wood and I am happy with the how the project finished.
I like the idea of making my own Tools, especially if it is a Tool that is not easily found or readily available. Handmade Tools give great satisfaction and for me it is fun knowing that I created something to help me better improve my woodworking experience.
