Police Inspector General Joseph Shikongo said the recent promotions within the force should not be politicized, as they are unrelated to politics.
The promotions, effective on November 1, saw 2 990 police officers promoted at a special parade at the Israel Patrick Iyambo Police College in Windhoek.
