Olive oil - ½ cup
Halloumi cheese - 2 lb, cut into thick slices
Sesame seeds - 1 tsp
Honey - 1 tbsp
Chilli flakes - ½ tsp
Thyme - 3 sprigs

Halloumi is a popular Cypriot cheese traditionally made from goat and sheep milk. It can be used in numerous recipes and prepared in many different ways. I love this cheese. Because it resists melting and retains its shape when cooked, one of the best ways to use halloumi is fried or grilled. The fried halloumi is kind of chewy but really delicious. You can serve it with virtually any meal. We love to put it in our salads because its salty taste adds such a nice flavor. With a little bit of honey and chilly flakes, it is irresistible. If you can get some halloumi at your local grocery, you should try this recipe at least once. You won't regret it! - 😋 Highly recommend!
