Welcome back to the MrExcel netcast! In this episode, we're tackling a common issue faced by many Excel users - fitting data onto one page. Our viewer, Mary, reached out to us for help and we're here to share some tips and tricks to make this task easier.

First off, we'll be using the new Page Layout View in Excel 2007. This view allows you to see where the page breaks will be, making it easier to adjust your data accordingly. To access this view, simply click on the Page Layout button next to the Zoom slider.

Now, let's say you've adjusted the page orientation and margins, but your data still won't fit on one page. This is where the Scale to Fit feature comes in handy. By selecting "Fit to 1 page wide" in the Page Layout section, you can fit about 36 rows of data onto one page. However, be careful when using this feature as making columns wider will result in smaller font sizes.

To avoid this issue, we recommend using the Page Layout view to adjust your data and then changing the orientation and margins to fit everything onto one page. You can also customize the margins to your liking, just like in Excel 2003. These simple tricks will save you time and frustration when trying to fit data onto one page.
