वोटर लिस्ट के स्पेशल इंटेन्सिव रिवीज़न का मामला अब सुप्रीम कोर्ट पहुंच गया है. S.I.R के खिलाफ केरल, पश्चिम बंगाल और तमिलनाडु सरकार की पेटीशन्स पर आज सुप्रीम कोर्ट में सुनवाई हुई. सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चुनाव आयोग ने कहा कि कुछ राजनीतिक दल S.I.R को लेकर गैरज़रूरी डर फैला रहे हैं. इसके बाद चीफ जस्टिस सूर्यकांत और जस्टिस जयमाल्य बागची की बेंच ने चुनाव आयोग से केरल सरकार की पेटीशन पर एक दिसंबर तक जवाब देने को कहा है. अदालत ने कहा कि चुनाव आयोग केरल और पश्चिम बंगाल में SIR को लेकर अलग अलग स्टेट्स रिपोर्ट भी दाखिल करे. इसके बाद 2 दिसंबर को सुप्रीम कोर्ट दोबारा सुनवाई करेगा.

The matter of Special Intensive Revision of Voter List has now reached the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court heard the petitions filed by the governments of Kerala, West Bengal, and Tamil Nadu against SIR today. The Election Commission stated in the Supreme Court that some political parties are spreading unnecessary fear regarding SIR. Following this, a bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justice Jaymalya Bagchi asked the Election Commission to respond to the Kerala government's petition by December 1st. The court also directed the Election Commission to file separate status reports regarding SIR in Kerala and West Bengal. The Supreme Court will then hear the matter again on December 2nd.
