Why Vernestra REALLY Doesn't Like Hyperspace

Описание: There was a quick exchange in The Acolyte episode Teach slash Corrupt about how Vernestra doesn’t seem to get out of the Jedi Temple much, part of the reason being that she finds hyperspace unsettling. It’s played off as a joke about how she gets nauseous traveling at lightspeed, but there is far more to it that can be learned in The High Republic books. Vernestra had visions in the Force while she traveled through hyperspace. It was something that began when she was a young Padawan, and then faded away over time. However, throughout the course of the High Republic story, Vernestra’s visions returned more intensely. It was something that made her uncomfortable. She also had no control over the ability, so I imagine traveling through hyperspace would bring up a lot of anxiety, wondering if she was going to see some terrifying vision of the future or not. #starwars #theacolyte
