Apathy is a loss of motivation, loss of drive and less emotional expression. It is the most common responsive behaviour in Alzheimer's disease and can negatively affect the quality of life of care partners and people living with dementia. Dr. Didyk reviews how to recognize apathy, how to distinguish apathy from depression, and how to treat the apathy symptoms.
