3D Printed Fish Tank Decoration!! Print & Paint Airship Competition

Описание: In this video I explain how I created my own 3D printed decoration for my fish tank! This video shows how I made my entry for the print and paint competition hosted by Arcane Minis and MyMiniFactory. I then set up a new 10 gallon tank to stage the Feather Class Skycoach model inside with my new fish!

I wanted my airship to be different by adding it to my aquarium, with the thought that the airship took an unexpected nose dive underwater and had to navigate its way through the aquatic life.

I used a combination of airbrushing and hand painting the model to get the desired colors. I then hand brushed the epoxy coating and let it cure for 48 hours.

As mentioned in the video, Polygem is the epoxy that I used to seal in the paint and make the 3d print safe to use in the aquarium.

Please be sure to have proper ventilation and use gloves and a mask when applying the product as there are fumes and is quite a messy process!

I printed the ship with my CraftBot XL printer with Sunlu white PLA filament.
