Ingredients:
1. Chickpea flour – ½ cup (62.5 gms.)
2. All purpose flour – ¾ tsp.
3. Salt – 1 pinch
4. Sunflower oil - 220 ml.(1 cup)
5. Clarified butter – 40 ml.
6. Sugar – 225 gms.( 1cup)
7. Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp. (optional)
8. Water – ½ cup
Points to remember:
1. Addition of all purpose flour is optional. It gives a smooth texture.
2. You can make with clarified butter alone or combining with sunflower oil in any ratio.
3. The correct proportion of the flour , sugar and oil + clarified butter is 1:2:2. I have taken more oil so that hot oil is available for pouring at the final stage if needed.
