Rees-Dart Track | Rugged and Untamed New Zealand

Описание: Nestled in the remote reaches of Mt Aspiring National Park lies the 63km Rees-Dart Track. This challenging multi-day adventure takes you through an ever-changing landscape that has been carved by glaciers and tectonic movement for millions of years. It is both hugely challenging and rewarding, and I made memories on this trip that will stay with me for a lifetime.

We were lucky to complete this trip in early January of 2026 when it was reopened after major storm damage. In the days after we completed the track a slip occurred on the Dart Track near Sandy Bluff, making it impassable for trampers. The track between Daleys Flat Hut and Chinaman's Bluff Carpark remains closed indefinitely, however ,you can still enjoy an out and back adventure from Muddy Creek to Dart Hut.
