The batman stories The Long Halloween and Dark Victory are both masterful comics but what if I told you that there was another? In the halloween 1993 Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale were brought in to do a disturbing halloween special. It blew up and they were brought back for the next two years, eventually being offered The Long Halloween but today I'm going to analyze those halloween specials otherwise known as Haunted Knight. Forget what you know from the movies, this is the real batman and at times it can be the darkest batman we've ever known.
