Joseph met HTI in 2017 and at that point, he had never met anyone who had taken a human trafficking case to court. Joseph discusses the crucial role that HTI has played in enhancing his abilities as a prosecutor by equipping him with specialized skills to effectively investigate and prosecute human trafficking cases.
The Human Trafficking Institute exists to decimate human trafficking at its source by empowering police and prosecutors to stop traffickers. Working inside criminal justice systems, HTI creates specialized teams, equips those teams with essential tools and tactics, and then places world class embedded experts in those justice systems to work alongside these units.
Joseph is helping create a world where traffickers are afraid and their victims are emboldened.
