योगी आदित्यनाथ ने उन लोगों को जवाब दिया जो गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु घोषित करने की मांग कर रहे हैं. योगी ने कहा कि हिन्दू गाय को माता मानते हैं, क्या किसी बेटे को मां के साथ अपने रिश्ते का सर्टिफिकेट देने की जरूरत नहीं होती. योगी ने कहा कि जो मुल्ला मौलवी गोमाता के नाम पर घड़ियाली आंसू बहा रहे हैं गौमाता का गुणगान कर रहे हैं लेकिन इन बहरूपियों के इरादे वो अच्छी तरह जानते हैं.

Yogi Adityanath responded to those demanding that the cow be declared the national animal. Yogi stated that Hindus revere the cow as a mother; surely, a son requires no certificate to validate his relationship with his mother. Yogi further remarked that while certain Mullahs and Maulvis are shedding crocodile tears and singing the praises of 'Gau Mata' (Mother Cow), he is well aware of the true intentions of these impostors.
