In this thrilling digitised cine film from June 1972, hop aboard a Ferry as it whisks passengers along the Manchester Ship Canal to Liverpool for an unforgettable adventure! Marvel as a cargo ship glides past on the port side, followed by three more in drydock. Experience the excitement as the ferry navigates through a lock gate, showcasing several ships, including the close-up "Carchester" and the impressive "Allurity." The Ferry sweeps under a colossal bridge—if you know its name, drop a comment below! The journey pauses as the ferry goes through another lock, with the large "Aretis" on the starboard side, followed by another ship, and slowly passing "BIAK." Two more bridges and a swing bridge await! Despite it being June, the weather turns rainy, prompting passengers to don their coats.
