Cumbrian Silage ‘25. Five 6-cylinder NH tractors (7840,8560,TM140) + FR550 SP on 2nd cut harvest!

Описание: A very well organised silage making team comprising of five New Holland 6-cylinder tractors and a NH FR550 self-propelled forager that was harvesting the farms 2nd crop of the season on a cloudless, sunny day in early July.
Rowing up ahead of the forager was an immaculate NH 7840 turbo and Pottinger Top 882C rake. New on the farm this season the 7840 and large twin-rotor rake was working at a nice steady pace and the well balanced combination was also very surefooted on the steep fields.
A good road network and well maintained farm tracks from the fields to the farm kept things flowing for the NH 8560, TM140 & TM190 carting team especially as the NH FR550 which was really flying through the windrows.
Back at the clamp the farms newest tractor a NH T7.270 bluepower edition with an Albutt buckrake was keeping well on top of the job of filling and rolling the pit despite the steady influx of trailers arriving to tip.
An immaculate modern fleet that was wonderful to watch working under the blue skies and despite the sweltering heat I spent an enjoyable couple of hours watching them harvest the grass under the blue skies!
