Landcruiser 100 Easy Backup Camera Install with GromVL2

Описание: We added a Grom VL2 to our 2002 Landcruiser which allowed for us to have a backup camera as well as Apple Car Play & Andriod Auto. This backup camera is Landcruiser 100 specific as it is made to replace one of the license plate lights. Since my lights are LED one light is plenty to illuminate the license plate. Install was pretty easy, no drilling. At the camera end, I attached the red positive wire from the yellow video rca jack to the red positive wire giving the camera power. I then ran that red positive wire to the right rear backup light wire and attached to the positive "blue" wire. I also ran the black ground wire to the right backup light and attached it to the black & white ground wire of the backup light. Now the camera is powered and grounded whenever the truck goes in reverse. I attached the video cable to the yellow RCA jack labled "Backup" on the Grom. There is no need to use the red positive wire on the Grom end of the yellow RCA jack because the camera is already powered and triggered by the backup light. I hope this is useful!
