Tommy, Donnie and Rea make it to the fishing grounds, the seamounts that are 100 miles offshore of Costa Rica in the Pacific Ocean. These seamounts are volcanos underneath the ocean that hold tons of tuna and blue marlin. These marlin are full of energy from the constant diet of tuna that they consume off the seamounts. They start the morning off gathering fresh tuna and filling the tuna tubes. Next they bridle up some bait and it does not take long to get a bite. They miss the first fish, then Tommy hooks into an estimated 550 lb - 600 lb blue marlin that measured 120 inches. Then they get a double header blue marlin with release, both estimated at 150 lbs each. One of the mates, Eric, cooked up fajitas for lunch and later for dinner fresh yellowfin tuna. This was Tommy's 1st billfish and a trip that he will never forget. It was also his 1st video he filmed and edited all by himself!
